Types of Auto Insurance Coverage

Different types of insurance coverage are there. All of these coverage may be priced differently. We don't need all of the insurance converges. Only need some of them. So we can avoid some of the non-compulsory covers. Generally 5 types of auto insurances are there.

Auto Insurance Coverage Types : 


Liability : This is one of the most important coverage and in most of the states it must be required. This type of coverage pays for bodily injury or property damage. If you are responsible for their injuries you are legally held responsible for medical bills and if you are responsible for causing an accident, you are legally held responsible for another person’s vehicle or property repairs. So this coverage pays for injuries and damages.

Property Damage :
This type of coverage pays for damage to your vehicle or for the theft of your vehicle.

Collision : This type of coverage pays for the damage of your vehicle if your vehicle hits another car is hit by another vehicle. It pays for the damage accrued by the result of a collision with another vehicle.

Comprehensive :
This type of coverage pays for the damage to your vehicle as the result of a collision, weather damage, theft. It also pays for the damages to other's vehicles and property as a result of a collision involving your car.

Uninsured Motorist Coverage : if  uninsured  motorist is responsible for causing an accident, he is legally held responsible for for your injuries and also for other passengers in your vehicle.

These are five primary types of coverage offered by the majority of auto insurance providers.
